Question about OOT Guests?
I have quite a few OOT guests, I blocked off rooms already, but I was thinking of sending out notices like 6 months prior to them with the hotel information. What do you think? Or should I just put them in the invite?

That is very nice of you to think of this for your oot guests! It might be easier for you to just send them out w/ the invitations.

btw--you were able to already block hotel rooms! i wasn't able to even TALK to anyone yet, until i was at the one year mark!

btw--you were able to already block hotel rooms! I wasn't able to even TALK to anyone yet, until I was at the one year mark!
Yeah I blocked 2 hotels. The Executive Inn and the Four point Sheraton. Some book 18 months in advance. I sent out my STD already. But I was thinking of printing up a letter for all my oot guests with the information and write on the bottom formal invitation to follow, or something like that.

That's what I am in the process of doing. I printed info on nice paper about the blocked hotel rooms, how much $, that there is a complimentary bus shuttle service and continental breakfast etc...I included the hotel info and I think the OOT guests will really appreciate the info! Good luck!

Yeah I thinks its are really nice idea and gives guests more time to book the rooms. I was concerned because if I mail my invites out 3 months before, with my rsvp date a month before my wedding, and the hotels release the rooms 30 days prior to the event, it gives them very little time.

if you didn't get the chance to put them on your STDs, then definitely include it with your invites - we had pocketfold invites and one of the inserts had hotel info on one side and directions on the other.
