Votive placecards
Do you think the glass votive holders with the candle already in it would be good for the place cards?? Or should it definetly be tealights

Re: Votive placecards
Tealights are just better b/c don't get as hot in the glass lit. However, if you already have the candles, keep them, and just have your reception site light up the candles no more than 10 minutes beforehand.

Re: Votive placecards
I bought my votives w/ candles already inside at BBB. I tested one the other night, and it was lit for over 2 hours and never got hot. The candle also seemed to be a slow burning candle too, b/c it barely melted down.

Re: Votive placecards
I used tealights in my votive holders. They didn't get too hot and no one burned themselves. That is what you have to be careful of when using votive candles.
