The Cake
How much is everyone spending on their cake(if you dont mind psoting) Im really not sure what a good price is ...we were quoted $400 last night for a 4tier with cala lilies that fed 200?????

wow, the quote you got seems like a good price... don't know what the cake is made of but it seems good...
our cake is included in our hall, flowerfield (owned by lovin oven) L.O. owns Audrey's Bake Shop too so they provide the cake. they even let us have fondant icing if we want for no extra charge so i dont know how much it actually is...
sorry i can't be of more help but to me, your price seems good--what is the cake made of??

OMG! That sounds like a good price! My cake included at The Crescent, but I was quoted almost 200 for groom's cake, so 400 for en ENTIRE tiered wedding cake sounds GREAT!!

My cake was included with my Hall, but I wanted a different cake. So I was undecided, but spoke with my Hall and they also mentioned they had Upgrade Cakes and it was only $200 more for an Upgrade Cake -- so I went for it!
Because if I ordered this same cake directly through the bakery the prices start at $12.50 per person.

My hall gives me a $500 credit with Audreys, and I know there cakes in that range. So 400 is not a bad price.

I'm paying $200 for mine for a 100 pp. I heard a good way to cut cake cost, order a small display cake and then buy a sheet cake for the same type of cake and same color. No one would know the differences. And it'll save you big $$$$!

Our hall is providing our cake, but that is a good price. My cousin was quoted more for that many people and because she got fed up, ended up having cupcakes.

depends, is it fondant or buttercream...if its fondant then that would be an amazing price considering the average price for fondant cakes is $6-8 a slice...even for buttercream its a good price.

The cake is included at my hall, but I heard that to save money you can buy a smaller wedding cake and use sheet cakes for the rest. They take it into the back when they cut it up anyway so no one will really know.
