Chair cover dilema (with poll)

My hall only has satin chair covers which come included or I can order other ones to use. Here is a picture of them set up. Do they look OK? If I had the choice I would probably use regular cotton ones but these are free. Oh and the chairs are ugly so I won't go without. Any opinions are appreciated!!

I voted for rent other ones, but only if you can afford it. These are a bit shiny and they look wrinkled. But don't break the bank to get cotton ones. You know what I mean?

I don't think these look bad. If you have the extra money to get the cotton ones and you'll be happier with them, get them. But if you don' t have the extra money, use these, I think they are nice.

If they're not too much $$, and in your budget, I say rent the ones you like. You're going to be looking at them for 4 hours, and you don't want to be thinking "I should have rented the other chair covers" the whole night of your wedding! If you really don't like them, get what you do like so you don't have ANY regrets on your day. (by the way, I personally don't think the ones in the pictures look that bad... and people will be sitting in them, so any imperfections won't look as obvious as the pictures you showed without guests).

Take the free ones! They're pretty! Spend the extra $$ you'll save on your honeymoon!

i agree with most of the others... these look fine- very nice!
i wouldn't worry about spending more on chair covers- its not something people notice espeially if you're having an evening wedding and the lights will be dim.... spend the money on something people will notice more, or on something you'll remember more- like youre honeymoon

I think the Satin ones are nice. My hall doesnt provide chair covers and the cheapest estimate I got for Satin was $7.00 per chair (set up included)
Once the room is filled you probably wont notice the chair covers. I say save the money.

Use the free ones. Once everyone is in your hall and sitting down your not going to notice the chairs. They'll proabaly be the last thing on your mind the day of your wedding.

It's all about your budget.

Me... I'd go with these and think of the money saved to go towards designer shoes!!!

I agonized over chair covers for the longest time, save your $$ for something more important. NO ONE will notice them after there *** is sitting there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think these are bad. Honestly, all chair covers end up looking like rumpled bedsheets by the end of the night anyway (and I'm not knocking chair covers here, I'm getting them as well). I WISH my hall provided any kind of chair covers for free because their chairs are absolutely revolting!

If the extra cost isn't a factor for you and you feel that strongly, go for it. As a guest, I definitely wouldn't notice...

I voted to use the ones that are included in your package. Why spens money that you don;t have to. Unless of coarse you hate them. If you don't you can always spend it on somthing that would leave more of an impression. To be honest, I can't describe what color chair covers of any of the weddings I've been too.

For free!!! Theres no decision to make there IMO. They look great and you dont need to spend any more $$, Id say take it!!!

Thanks everyone for your honest opinions. I think I will go with the ones the hall provides and get a colored sash. Also, they had overlays that I could rent to match the chair covers (they have a satin trim) which would be much cheaper. That will be a little money saved anyway
