I did thermography-I liked them a lot. It's not as expensive as engraved and gives you more font choices (I believe).

I did letterpress for my invites because I liked the papers so much more than what was available for flat/thermography printing. It costs about the same as engraving does.

DIY girl here. My father printed them at his work for me. They have an exceptionally nice printer. Everything worked out great.
