Okay ladies, I'm not good at this so please post...
garden-esque or summery/springy wedding favors that you would like to receive. We'll probably put confetti inside or get confetti flowers to put on top of the box. I do want to give something that can be somewhat of a keepsake.
Thanks!

I suggested on the other thread, wind chimes. I think that would be cute!
Another bride posted a great link to a "Spring themed" favors site on your other thread. Go check that out, too! Good luck!

I know, but I have a knack for picking just the things that people wouldn't want in a favor. That's why I'm asking people to post their suggestions.

Re: Okay ladies, I'm not good at this so please post...
I don't like getting "trinkets". I like more practical things, like a wine stopper. I'm giving a beach themed ornament at my wedding, which is what I've always wanted to give. But, if I didn't do that, I would have done the heart shaped wine stopper. You can also do a very pretty, hand painted vase. That's springy... and practical... and pretty! Or you can give out a small pitcher, with a warm weather drink inside... maybe even a pre-packaged margarita mix like that spring-themed favor website had? That would be very original, and tie into your spring theme!

Re: Okay ladies, I'm not good at this so please post...
Even guests who don't drink still might keep wine in the house for entertaining. I just think if you worry too much about what a handful of guests might think about a favor, you'll never be able to decide on anything. I worried about my guests receiving ornaments who don't celebrate Christmas (of which there are only a few), but I'm having a "chocolate buffet" where guests can take home a cute container of whatever candy they choose, so that makes me feel better that everyone will have something they like to take home. (all the ladies will be handed a long stemmed red rose, too. The guys might get cigars. And everyone will get a scratch off lottery ticket for us to "share our luck!")

we're actually not doing favors but a donation instead. However, for those guests that must have something, we are going to use these chocolates as place cards. You get to pick and choose the wraps and the ribbons to match.

I was thinking of doing the wine stopper in the middle. What do you think?

I think that's a very unique taste... you might want to go with a design that's more generic for your guests' tastes, like a heart or sea shell or flower. They make them in all metal. Oohh.. or they make the crystal flower topped wine stoppers, and they'll put a Swarovski crystal that matches your wedding colors in the flower.

Re: Okay ladies, I'm not good at this so please post...
I've recieved these and most people I know held on to them and didn't throw them out. They seemed to go over really well.
Leaf Soaps - put in a little clay pot with a dried flower & tulle
Butterfly Wind Chime
Tea lights which I never seem to have enough of. They came in lots of flower types and colors and everyone got a different one -
