MY REVIEW 2/18/06 WEDDING AT MAJESTIC GARDENS WITH PICTURES
LIWeddings.com – A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I was obsessed with this website throughout the entire time I was planning my wedding and it gave me so many amazing ideas and I met so many helpful and sweet girls on the site.
Mother Nature – B
Okay, I know it is supposed to be cold in February but the weather was frigid and windy! I should be happy though because we missed the blizzard by one week!!!
Gown - (Burtons Bridal) A+
They were great! I loved my dress so much!!!!!!!
Veil, Gloves, Shoes, and BM Shawls - (Davids Bridal) A++++++++
I loved that store....and I kept going back for more!!!
Tiara - (Swarovski Crystal) A++++++++
I loved my tiara so much...it was a gift from MIL.
Hair (Vanessa at Gloria Edwards Salon in Nesconsett)– A+
After 2 horrible hair trials with others I will not mention, I went to Vanessa and I showed her the pic of how Carmen Electra wore her hair at her wedding and she did it exactly. She was great!
Makeup (Denise from Angel Eyes) – A+
I loved Denise…she is so professional and talented and I booked her on the spot. On the day of, she was on time and she did my makeup just like the trial that I loved.
Limo (Limousine Please) – B
This place was reccomeded to me by a friend. We got an Excursion at a reasonable price but I was told that they had the “Here comes the bride " horn but on the day of they said they did not have it in that limo. Also, I was told on the contract that there would be cookies and chips but they did not have that for us in the limo. Other than that, they were on time and they got us to where we needed to be on time.
DJ (High Voltage) – D
I am giving them a D because I was upset and VERY embarrased on the day of my wedding because they played the song “ I LIKE BIG BUTTS”! When I heard that song playing my blood was boiling inside and I looked at the DJ and told him to get that off and he did. I guess I just NEVER expected them to play a song like that at a WEDDING!!!! That still bothers me. I should have put it on my do not play list......I guess I just didnt think I would have to.
Another thing that was kind of annoying was that I asked them to invite the BRIDAL PARTY onto the dance floor half way into our first song....instead they invited EVERYONE onto the dance floor....UGHHHHH!!!!
Also, I booked them because I loved Vinny when I met him and he told us that he was going to be doing our wedding but on the day of he was a no show. Instead, we had someone else MC’ing the wedding which bothered me a lot because I did not know why and I booked them for Vinny. When I asked why they just said that he is not coming. After the wedding I emailed him and I found out that Vinny was really sick but nobody told me that the day of. So, that was a shock to me not having him there but I COMPLETELY UNDERSTOOD that he was very sick and I wished him well.
Flowers (Burtons) – B
The BM flowers were AMAZING but a couple of pink flowers in my bouquet kept falling out and they were already a little brown when I got them, which I did not like to see. But, they were on time and everything was there that we paid for.
Tuxedos (Rogers Tuxedos) A+
They were amazing! Everything turned out perfect!!!
Photo/Video (DUET) -

They were great! All over the place taking a million pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved them!!!!!!!!! The proofs came out AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Honeymoon (SANDALS WHITEHOUSE IN JAMAICA - Beach Bum Hayley) A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
We had the time of our lives!!!! Sandals Whitehouse is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and so was Hayley!!!!!!
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..........
Hall (MAGESTIC GARDENS) – A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
This place is AMAZING! I HIGHLY RECCOMMED MG because they made our wedding spectacular. The people are so nice and professional!!!!! The food was UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!! CHECK THIS PLACE OUT PEOPLE! IT IS GORGEOUS INSIDE!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as Vinny goes, I understand that things happen and people get sick etc, but that just kind of $ucked that it happened on your wedding day and nobody told you about it...I know I would be royally PO! Other than playing that song was everything else as you have discussed???
