Real...I have a couple of hand me downs to choose from....and then Pete's mom has some jewelery too she would like me to use.
I guess it depends on the dress I pick..I like it all to go...so if i pick a dress that none of my options go with..I guess I would go with imitation...don't want to spend thousands of dollars on new bling right now

I am wearing real. The Greeks have a tradition that when the couple oficailly get engaged ( by a priet) during the party the family of the groom "dresses" the bride is diamonds and gold. and the family of the bride do the same for the groom. Basically they get 1 pc of every kind of jewlery. ex: earing, necklace, ring, braclet. So anyway since i know my Fh and his parents have awsome taste in jewlery and i have seen the braclet already... i have a feeling i will be wearing what they got me.... i cant wait to see it all..i'll let u girls know.

real. I want to wear the earrings FH gave me for my birthday this year (white gold with small sapphires) and if I wear a necklace I have two choices that my parents gave me years ago - I always planned on wearing the heart one for my wedding, but if that doesn't work the sunburst one is also quite beautiful. I also might see if anybody in the family has a sapphire necklace to lend me for my "something borrowed" to go with my earrings. I haven't picked my dress yet so I guess we'll see. So... yeah. Real it is!
If I didn't have stuff though I don't think I'd buy it. I'd either borrow it or get something quality but not real, like swarovski crystal type stuff that looks really fancy but doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
(and I thought I'd share some pictures, because I loved my jewelry Just ignore my turtle pj pants, the sunburst necklace doesn't have a nice box to take pictures in)
