NWR: Las Vegas???

Hey ladies, I am dying to take FH to Las Vegas for our 7 year anniversary coming in April. but am unsure where to begin Does anyone have any rants or raves about places to stay and whom to fly with ?????

I stayed at Excalibur, New York New York, Mandalay Bay, Monte Carlo, and Bally's before and I loved them all. Mandaly Bay and Monte Carlo were definitely my favorite!

Try going to LasVegas.com and they will show you all the hotels in the area that are available when you are looking to go. Or you can go through expedia or yahootravel, to check out hotels and flights together.

I've stayed at the Mirage and the Bellagio, I will be staying at the Wynn in June. All for work. The Bellagio is gorgeous!!!

My MOH used to go alot and she says that she always got a great deal at the Hard Rock.

Depends on what you are looking for. Sounds like you are looking for a "romantic" feel. If so, I'd go with Venetian or Bellagio ( I prefer Bellagio). I fly Jet Blue to Vegas. Have Fun!

MGM is pretty resonable for a huge nice resort...
Thats usually where we stay.. you can't really lose with anything and theres the tram thing that takes you from one end of the strip to another..

we just went in january for a wedding, and we stayed at the MGM grand.... we got a great deal on the "west wing" room from orbitz.com......
i think they just totally redid the "west wing" area of the hotel, and teh rooms were great- the most comfortable bed ever! and a TV built into the bathroom mirror to watch while you're drying your hair- LOL.... its also really nice becasue theres several restaurants and shops right there so you don't have to go far....
the wedding we went to was at the venetian, and that was GORGEOUS if you're looking for a more romantic feel... but i heard its a little pricey...

I stayed at Monte Carlo and LOVED it!!

FH and I flew with jet blue and they were great. We stayed at the MGM and loved it. Next time we want to stay at Mandalay Bay. FH also stayed at the Hard Rock with his friends and had a great time there. No matter where you stay, you will have a great time.

I've stayed at the MGM Grand and Paris. I loved Paris, but MGM Grand was just OK for me - I actually thought the rooms needed renovation - but that was a few years ago, so maybe my old room has. Paris is definitely romantic, and a little less pricey than the Bellagio or the Venetian.

Venetian is 2nd: don't care for the pool too much. I personally DETEST the way I was treated at the Mandalay Bay: ignored by the waiters at Aureole, while they attended to the "high roller" guys in suits while ignoring my mother and me...given major attitude in Red Square by the hostess (for absolutely NO reason) AND (this ones the best): after we had dinner at rumjungle, we're sitting at the table (my husband--bf at the time--and another couple). A hooker (who had her top off and who I saw doing lines at a table in the corner) walked over to our table, placed her boobs on my husband's head and tried to pull him away from our table... I had to be physically restrained...and my husband had to throw her off of him.. GROSS. I had to vent because I hate the damn Mandalay Bay!!!
Anyway, the Bellagio rules.
Forgive me for the vent!!!

Ive stayed at the Mirage twice, Treasure Island, & the Rio... Rio is all suites- VERY nice but a bit off the strip. My suggestion?? If you have the money, stay at Mandalay, hard Rock or the Palms All party hotels-perfect for a bach party.

we flew jet blue and stayed at ceasers...it was def really nice...but werent paying for it....but all of the hotels there are so nice...we would walk to all the other ones at night...
i heard bellagio is really nice as well as tropicana
