Stupid Question, please explain a digital album

Location: 21 Main, Sayville	Stupid Question, please explain a digital album I'm looking into a photographer that provides this, but I don't quite understand what it means. Do I get to print it on my own instead of having them make up albums?

So you album looks more like a magazine and doesn't just have mounted pictures.
