Any info on MIchael C. Fina?
hi girls,
one of the only places that carries my formal china is michael c. fina so i'm most likely going to register there. have any of you girls had any experience with MCF - do they offer good service? also would it seem stupid for me to register there for only my formal china? will my guests think i'm crazy for registering at a store for one item?

I shopped around there and loved the store, but it is just too far away for most of our guests. I would check with JessicaM. I think she registered there.

I actually registered there for my casual china because they were the only store that had it. I also ended up adding barware and a couple of vases and bowls. So far, so good. We did a consolidated registry where they keep everything that people buy until you get all your pieces or place settings and you ask them to ship it to you all at once. They've been doing this for a long time, so I think you'll be OK.

I would check the other places you registered to see if they can order the china for you...what china is it?
If it can't be gotten anywhere else then I would go with what you love.

i have a registry with them...and we got our wedding bands from them as well...they're really great...nice people...its a bit a commute but i'm pretty sure that your guests can purchase things online off your registry..don't quote me on that though, I have to double check...if you can't find your dishes anywhere else than I would definitely consider michael c. fina

I LUV Michael C. Fina. they have the best service so far, and the prices are really reasonable for the china settings. they do bridal showcases with the Knot in their Manhattan store all the time, and are very "bride" centric, but not in an obnoxious way. they have very unique pieces- things you may not ordinarily put on your registry.
I also LOVE the fact that you can mix and match your china patterns. through them, I am getting my places setting in a combo of Kate Spade June Lane and Wedgewood Pacific Rim (or something like that LOL I forgot the exact name)
they have empty tables there that you can use to set up with different pieces- you can pull them right off the wall! I just loved them and my experience with them. I highly recommend them.

This is the china I'm registering for Waterford's Bellamont Hall. I can't find it at Fortunoff, Macys, or BBB - MIchael C. Fina is the only retailer I found that carries it so far
