NWR: WORST DAY EVER

FH is being inducted in AOA (Medical School Honor Society) tonight so I've been getting ready and want to look great tonight... but it's turning out terrible..

i just had THE WORST shower in my entire life.....

first I got shampoo in my eye... but enough that my entire face is bright red and my eye is still stining...

then i knocked over one of FH's razors (they hang under a mirror in the shower) and I felt it knick me on my little toe... but my eyes were closed b/c of the shampoo that I didnt realize how bad it cut me... I finally look down and there's blood all over the bottome of the tub.... so I finish up and i'm straddling the bathroom to get the bandaids from the medicine cabinet... so I finally get a bandaid on and I'm brushing my teeth, putting saline solution in my eye to flush it and then I look down and I'm standing in a pool of blood all over the bathroom floor... so I get gauze and an ace bandage - which I have from the foot surgery and wrap up my foot so that it stops bleeding.... did I mention that I can't stand the sight of blood so now I'm crying and gagging from seeing so much blood...

so after all of this I don't think I can wear contacts tonight and I don't know if I can wear heels.... so aren't I going to look pretty in a formal dress wiht glasses and flats...

ughhh.. this day is turning out horrible...

I feel so bad for you. I know how it feels to be looking foward to somehting and then for stuff to just start going wrong.. hopefully your foot will get a little bit better by tonight and if you keeo throwing cold water on ur eyes the puffyness might go down and you will be able to put ur contacts in. Try to be positive! i know itis easier said than done ..my FH give me that advice all the time but sometimes things really do come out with positive results.. If the night goes well then tomorrow you will be laughing at all of this.

Wow, seems like you are having a rough one

If the party is not until tonight, your eye is going to be fine and as far as your toe I would stay off of it today and see how it feels later.

I am sure you are going to look beautiful regardless

When I start a day off like that...you just have to treat yourself to make yourself feel better. Go get a cute new top, ice cream, burger and fries, pedicure..well....I guess the pinky toe can't handle that Do something for you, make yourself feel better.

You poor thing, I'll say a prayer for you. And you are soo beautiful..a little puffiness is not gonna hurt you. And I bet by tonight your redness, puffyness, and footsy will all be better

awww.. honey.. when it rains it pours!!

Your eye will stop stinging in a little while, I promise (I stuck my mascara in my eye this morning and thought it was going to fall out, AND IT DIDN'T.. it will stop hurting soon, I promise..) once the toe calms down, a little neosporin and a bandaid will do the trick..
Since you will be in pumps tonight.. treat yourself to a manicure.. they always make me feel better!!!
