started my registry!

I went to Bed Bath and Beyond today and started my registry People have been asking my mom and FMIL about getting us engagement gifts and my mom has been thinking about throwing us a little engagement party this summer, so my mom and I decided to go and start a registry so we would have a good answer when people asked what to get us.

It was so much fun! I really have basically nothing other than the pans and such that I used in college (which are like the 3 sizes for $15 type, not very high quality), so I was basically registering for everything. I put on a whole set of pans (calphalon one, very high quality, gotta love it), a rice cooker, a slow cooker, food processer, one of those coffee makers that makes it directly into a travel cup as well as a full size coffee maker with grinder, a panini pan...

Oh, and an ice cream maker, a foot massage pedicure bath, and a back massager

Anyway, it was just so much fun, and really nice to kind of just go "well, who cares if it's expensive, just put it on anyway, somebody might buy it for me!" and not be my usual price-stickler self. I highly recommend it as an afternoon's entertainment!

And now I keep looking on the website and switching things and adding things.... it's a bit unhealthy, really

Re: started my registry!

You sound so excited! It must have been fun with your mom.

You will now need a 12 step program to try to stop adjusting and checking your registry!

I really will!

I'm such a shopaholic, it's not even funny. Well, maybe a little funny.

Re: started my registry!

It's so much fun, eh?

It gets better when you check the registry and find that someone had bought something off the list. We put a pack of gummy bear as a joke and someone bought it over the weekend. My FH and I are now trying to guess who bought it!!!
