NWR-If money were no object....

Again...just bored!

If money were no object, what city or town in Long Island, or in NY to make it broader...would you love to buy a house in and why?(Notice I said NY, so if money were no object and you would pick up your bags and go to Aruba..this question is not for you )

I would stay here! I grew up here and would love to be able to have a beautiful house on the water. I live on the way eastern end of the north fork. I like it here so much more than the south fork. But in reality I have to move in the next few years. Living here just has become undoable.

I would buy one of the big mansions in my neighborhood - Dyker Heights or I'd go to Howard Beach in Queens

I'm in love with Sag Harbor and Amaganset - but I wouldn't mind owning a huge apartment on the upper east side, turtle bay or in the west village.

OMG!! alternate side parking - I HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT!!!! I live in HB and am sooo not used to having to look for a spot for half an hr - and FH lives in Brooklyn - and its not a nice thing to have alternate side parking!!

I would say I would live in a mansion in Manhasset, Forest Hills, or Whitestone

My aunt lives in Old Brookville and has a gorgeous house there! She let us take our wedding pics there before the ceremony...talk about gorgeous.

I would say, Muttontown, Kings Point, Sands Point..

In Suffolk, probably Amagansett, Lloyd Neck, Lloyd Harbor

If money were no object, I'd love to live in East Quogue. FMIL and FFIL have a summer house there and it is just amazing. I love the quaintness of the town and the proximity to the ocean.
