Little Things Help
Daily living can give you an extra boost in burning a few extra calories each day. Here are some things you can do to get a little extra exercise.
() Don't look for the close parking spot. A little extra walking can be a good thing.
() Park on the opposite side of the mall. If you are going to a store on one side of the mall, park on the opposite side and walk the extra distance BUT USE BLINDERS! If youa re like Nic, you will stop in stores and that only leads to spending!
() Take the stairs. Whenever you can, instead of takign elevators or esculators, take the stairs up instead.
() Walk the dog. Both of you will get some exercise.
() Utilize your lunch hour. When the weather is nice, take a stroll and unwind from the first half of your day. It will be beneficial in more then just the extra calories but with the stress!!!
Little things are not going to blow your mind away like a good workout but adding a few extra burned calories here and there will eventually add up.

My FH and live on the 6th floor and we have stopped taking the elevator. At first I would really winded on the way up, but it's been getting easier every time.

THAT IS A SUCCESS STORY!! Daily living made easier because you were determined to make it easier. Simple things like being able to walk through the city without having to rest or making it up stairs that were once a struggle (In your case) is an AWESOME way to measure results. They are 10000 times better then a scale weight.
