Have you ever taken a break from planning your wedding??
I know it gets intense...I think I tried to take one...I think that lasted 3 days

Yes, for about 4 months when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer last June. The wedding seemed so trivial at the time. I think it's important that you sit back every once in a while to reflect on what is truly important in your life. It is very easy to get caught up in all the hoopla of wedding planning and I think that it's ok to take a break from it all every now and then.

I took off the month of November. Every once in a while FH & I have a night that I call a "wedding free zone" where no wedding discussion is permitted.

I haven't had the time to take a real break. I got engaged on Chirstmas and by New Years I had the date set and the BP selected. I took a two day break for New Years, but since then I've been going non-stop. And there's two months left! Crazy!!

I pretty much took a break this past December. I just couldn't handle wedding planning and Christmas shopping at the same time!
I'm taking a mini-break right now..need to start planning again soon, though

Yes, ONE it was consumming my life- thoughts and conversations were revolving on everything to do with the wedding and I knew it was time...
TWO- there became a time when all the big stuff was done and it was too early for the little stuff so I took a break...It was good because it made me more excited for planning again.

That's what I do - don't do much during school time, but go crazy during breaks

I took a break this passed summer. With the exception of chatting on the boards...I had all the big stuff done. Now, I'm focusing on DIY projects and shoes..undergarments, etc.
The break was nice, I saved a lot of money
