10 Years Ago Today...and 5 Years Ago Today...
I met my DH...and my DH proposed... 
We met at my best friend's house on a Friday morning. 2-23-96. We weren't in school and he walked in with her boyfriend (he was his best friend) around noon drinking Sprite and Bacardi Limon. I instantly hated him and commented on him being an alcoholic.  Well, he grew on me...what can I say? 
Then exactly 5 years to the day we met, also on a Friday, he asked me to get a nice outfit and be ready for dinner. He picked me up in a limo and took me to The River Cafe for dinner where he proposed after the "Brooklyn Bridge" dessert was out while down on both knees. Not before asking mom and dad if he could "officially have my hand". Then he gathered all my best girlies from HS and took me (and them) to Webster Hall to dance the night away (and have my e-party). It was the second best night of my life! The wedding is by far the best.

Dina...the best part? He was barely 18...and drinking!!  I was a 16 year old baby and full of angst!!  But I have to say, Bacardi Limon and Sprite rocks!!
