They wanted HOW MUCH for a bo-k???
Maybe someone can help me out. I went to a florist in Islandia yesterday & was floored when they told me that my bo-k would be $250. WHAT?!?! For just lavender roses? Is that normal? I want just a bo-k of lavender roses. No baby's breath, no stephanotis, nothing but 18- 24 roses. What is the normal price range?

mine is 4 doz roses, about 36 lavendar, 12 blue and some steph with crystals in center...im paying less than 175 for it...250 is crazy in my opinion  designs by rose is the way to go! FM me if you want details

NO WAY!!!! That is crazy! My florist quoted me 120-150 for mine, I have roses, steph, gardenias and silk hydrangeas. Don't even think about spending that much!

I know it sounds cheap but I decided to make my own bouquet of red roses. I am going to costco/price club and do it with my MOH. We are putting a nice tulle and ribbon around the cut stems. Very simple, very elegant.

mine is all red roses, 3 dozen, no BB, no greenery, and it was $175.

It is really sad that vendors could jack prices up so high when they hear "wedding"!!! Are you going to have 100 roses in it? Because maybe then that price would be apprpriate!

see, I don't think it's THAT much......it depends on many factors....the reputation of the florist, are the flowers "in season" or are you asking your florist to find flowers that aren't readily available.....
I would ask for a breakdown of what costs so much....my bouquet is going to be $250 as well, and that was just for red tulips, but I've since changed my mind and will be using diff flowers which will prob cost even more.

Mine is about going to be almost 3 dozen mixed roses with about 10 freesia and it's only costing me $125-$150.

No, the flowers I wanted are just regular roses. I just thought that roses are not an uncommon flower. Especially for a wedding.
