I am super tired of the "look at me I am so witty and funny and blah blah blah" posts. Post about your wedding!!!!! Post your questions, post your advice (but be aware that your advice is just your opinion), post any etiquette questions, post about how your BM/MOD/MOG/FH is driving you nuts-that's why I come to this WEDDING website.

I don't get easily offended and I'm not going to "flame you". I'm not sure what happened to prompt this post from you, so I don't know if it's the general NWR posts that are bothering you or if it's a particular post that you are referring to. I just want to say, in general, that although this is a wedding website, we are a close-knit group here. Many of us like to come on here and post non-wedding items on here for hopes of advice or just support from their fellow 06'ers.

No particular post per se; just the many AW posts-mostly on BHB-that have been driving me crazy of late. I've been on these boards awhile and some recent inductees seem to have gone overboard on the NWR. NWR doesn't usually bother me a bit; it's just lately it seems to be a bit overboard.
ETA: I've had my share of such posts, it's just when the number of NWR is overwhelmingly in excess of the number of WR that I get a little nutso.

Gotcha! I haven't been on too much lately, so again, I haven't noticed. But, I just posted a WR about the Lenox sale from which I got my toasting flutes. Does that make you feel better?

I can see both sides here, but this is a wedding resource website and all of the random posts can be annoying, but I just don't look at them. I just weed through the posts and read the ones that appear interesting and/or helpful to me.

i do this too, but i do agree that there are some people who repeatedly post NWR topics on the wedding boards and it can be a little annoying.

I totally agree. Too much NWR all over the place last week. I stopped logging on as much b/c of it. It was getting out of control. On the NWR thread, fine, cool, post all of that kinda stuff, but on the BHB, it was just alittle much.

i think the closer we all get to our weddings, the less questions we have. i mean, we all have our vendors booked, for the most part. i don't need to ask about photographers or cakes or whathaveyou anymore. but i'll still answer other questions.

I have to agree with the original poster. Some is fine, but I think some people get out of hand, JMO. I am also guilty of this, especially since BHB board gets more hits usually, but lately it's just overwhelming.
