Fabulous Florist Experience
I just wanted to share with you girls that I've been looking for a florist and I came to the city on Fri.
I went to 3 places in Queens. 2 of them treated me awful, one place (Heavenly F\orist on Cross Bay Blvd.) wants to charge $75 for a consultation fee (whch I thought was outrageous) and then said to me plain and simple I can't take you b/c you're not getting any centerpices abd I cant make any money! Then Lynn from Florisan met with me (she camme all the way to my FSIL's house) and was the sweetest person with me. She will work wth my budget and gave me really personalized attention, my experience with her was amazing and I highly reccomend her!!!!

Hi...dleeny used Lynn from Floristan....I have FM'd with her regarding her gorgeous flowers. Do a search on dleeny and see pics of her flowers...they are gorgeous!!!
I plan on meeting with Lynn too!!!

She was fabulous for me in a situation that had nothing to do with flowers. I would recommend her. Her heart is in the right place which is so hard to find.

thanks for the heads up...i had planned on meeting with heavenly on cross bay, but i won't waste my breath now....we aren't having centerpieces made...just petals and candles.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with Heavenly. I don't normally like flowers, but this is the one flower shop that I don't mind buying from. Love their flowers and love their arrangements. They have always been nothing but kind and courteous to me and I would have used them for my own wedding if my aunt didn't do my flowers.
Happy to hear you found flowers though!

don't doubt their flowers are nice but the lady there was soooo snotty to me! I was so upset when I left and why charge people $75 dollars for a consultation, am I the only one who thinks thats roberry?

I totally think that's robbery!. Some wedding vendors can play upon your fear that you will be missing out if you don't spend x amount. I have never heard of a consultation fee, especially for flowers. I can't believe it since I have bought flowers there. I would definitely not use them--Its your day, don't let any vendor make you feel like you work for them. They should work to get your business.
P.S. I am using silksations in brooklyn--amazing
