GownFind ?????
Does anyone know anything about GownFind.com? Are their dresses straight from the designers? Has anyone heard anything about them? Good? Bad?
Thanks for any info you have.

I am using Phyllis at Gownfind to get my gown. I just ordered it in January and she was great to work with. She was also able to get my dress at $250 less than what bridal salons wanted for it.

I'm using Phyllis for my dress, my brides maid dresses and my mom's dress. The gowns are direct from the designers and her prices are fantastic! Her alteration cap was also very reasonable.

My BM ordered their dresses from her. They dresses are $70 cheaper and the alteration cap is $30 cheaper.....totally worth it IMO

Phyllis is great!
I ordered my wedding gown from her, a BP dress for my friends wedding and my girls are ordering there dresses from her...
I was iffy at first about ordering from her but then I asked around LIweddings, and met with her...she is nice , and gives honest opinions!
Although I have only ordered dresses from her and have not experienced the seamstress part I really do have confidence in her...

She is located in East Northport. I found the dress I wanted at another bridal shop, emailed her the style #, she responded with the price and I went to her house/salon to order it.

you're NOT buying over the internet! she has an actual location with dresses/veils/tiaras/etc. it's not a fancy place by any means but saves you tons of $$$. i'm getting my BM dresses through her

Phyllis is located in E. Northport & has a small shop out of her house. She has a selection of dresses to try on too, but I gave her the designer/dress & she ordered my dress at $400. less than any other store & it came in super fast. My girls just placed their order w/ her & she is saving them 50. each.
I know a number of girls have used her.

I'm getting my alterations done through her.
She gets the dresses for less because she has no overhead. She works out of her house, not a salon that has to pay rent and sales commissions. Thus, she passes the savings on to people who order through her.
Had I known about her sooner, I would have ordered my gown and BM dresses from her and probably would not be dealing with the stress I am now!!
