NWR - Job instability
Does anyone else work in a field that forces them to hop from job to job? I work in TV and have worked 3 different shows for 3 different companies in the past year and a half. Sometimes I love it, there's always something new, if you hate your job you can count the months or weeks until it's over and if you like it there's always next season. The pay is pretty decent, too. The problem is, you never know if you're going to be employed or where in a few months, which is sometimes scary and it's really hard to plan ahead if you may be out of work for a few months out of the year.
Anyone going through the same thing?

Re: NWR - Job instability
I'm a realtor so I definitely know what you mean about instability. In real estate, there's really only 4 months a year that you are working non stop 24/7. And then the other 8 months you are praying for the phone to ring. But as long as you make those 4 months last, you are good the whole year! I love my job, no boss following me around and I get to meet awesome people! You should consider getting licensed. Alot of people make more money selling real estate on the side than they do with their full time jobs...

A friend of mine just got her real estate liscense. It's something I'd love to learn about. Maybe during one of my unemployment spells.
