Re: Jess, Hollie, Q & Sasha...

I did have a little bit of trouble... It was so beautiful that I didn't want to break it!! DH was like "maybe if you calm down and sit you will have an easier time"

I was going to page you...Chris, it's GORGEOUS!! SO gorgeous in fact that my mail person walked all the way up to my floor and left the invite on my door so as to not "smush" it into the box downstairs. This is THE FIRST time that has ever happened. And it was perfect. No dents, definitely hand cancelled (only 2 "marks" - the hand cancelled stamp and a bar SKU on the bottom) and perfect addressing. I think my mail person liked it too since they took such good care of it!! Thank you...I felt honored to get it!! And DH compliemented your DIY skillz!!

Three people have told me they didnt' want to break the seal b/c it was pretty on the outside...I'm so happy that I'm receiving such glowing remarks! Thanks so much ladies!

If you want, I can send you an empty invite with just the ribbon and seal...

honestly Chris, we have been getting the same thing about our seal...no one wants to break it...luckily on my invites, you can slide it out through the top or bottom of the vellum. so the seal stays in tact...(you'll see soon enough! )

Yeaj, I was trying to slide yours Chris...but it didn't work!! I did manage to gently remove the top and bottom of the seal and nothing ripped. It's such a lovely invite!

DH even said, "these girls (DIY girls) are smart, after all we went through with invites, we should just have done that"...this is hilarious to me because he went through nothing (unless saying "no" is something ) but yet feels like our invite process sucked (which it did!).

Anyway...love yours!!

I, too, did not want to break the seal (it sounds like we're alkies!). It was so beautiful. John really loved it and thinks you could go into business.

I had the opposite happen. My mailman just shoved it in my tiny box and creased it. Just wait until I see him tomorrow.

Other than that PERFECT!!! You did such an amazing job Chris! You really should do this for a living.

Ladies . . . a little tip for not damaging the invite b/c you don't want to break the seal (for the future obviously). Stick it in the freezer for about 10 minutes and the glue will freeze and it will pop open.
