Table Names

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for table names. I was thinking of trying to do something creative rather than simple numbers. I saw in a magazine someone who did each table a different location b/c they liked to travel. Or another that used words like love, trust, faith etc. etc. in lieu of numbers. Does anyone have any other cute ideas that they have heard of and/or might be doing? Thanks

i've seen a bunch of great ideas on LIW!

i am doing butterfly names (monarch, swallowtail, etc.)

i've noticed that some ladies are doing:
- wine names
- virtues
- flower names, etc.

Some ladies here are doing Diamond cuts, others the word love in different languages. Some are doing favorite songs. Theres a bunch of stuff you can do. Good Luck.

I wanted to do different bodies of water. (Long Island Sound, Great South Bay, Atlantic, Pacific...) FH wants to do different sports teams. This is one of the few places where he really has wanted something so I think I'm going to give in. I told him that he needed to find jerseys from each of the teams and we'll take pics in them and use them as the table numbers.

I saw the table name idea and loved it too!

I plan on doing a Tuscan Vineyard theme for my wedding. I am naming the tables after wines merlot, cabernet, chianti, ect..when I run out of wine names I will use regions in Italy such as Tuscany, Umbria, Calabria, Sicily..ect

I would like to follow a love theme, maybe do a tables named for romantic movies, or something like that.....

My theme is gardens and butterflies, so all my tables are going to ge named after botancial gardens and butterfly gardens

my best friend is really into music and theatre, so each of her tables was the name of a broadway show. her program for the ceremony and reception looked exactly like a playbill ( the BP each got a pic and a bio.!) and the place cards looked like ticket stubs. she went all out!

My best friend is getting married in August, and she and her fiancee met in college, and are totally obsessed with their school, so they are naming table after different buildings from the college (a lot of the guest graduated from there at some point as well).

We are going to do different types of roses, b/c I love them and FH always buys me roses

ok....have an idea...........FH likes the movie idea b/c he is a movie fanatic. so we are thinking of doing that. For the frame that will represent the table we were thinking of getting pics of the movie cover....like of the dvd. Then putting them on the table for people to find it. I was also thinking of on each table to put a matching frame on the other side (I have a thing with symmetry) with a love quote on each table. So you would have a frame with the quote, then the centerpiece, and then the other frame with the table name. What do you think ladies??

I think it is a great idea and a way to personalize your wedding.

My FH owns a Pizzeria. Maybe I should do different pizza toppings!

I told FH I want to do tables with the names of all the clubs we've been to...lolol He was like are you out of your mind? I think it's pretty witty....Soundfactory, Twilo, Cheetah, XS, Temptations, Surf Club, etc....

FH and I are avid boaters so we are going to be using nautical themes for our tables.

I do love the idea of the word love in different languages though!!! Really cute !

My FH and I got engaged when we were living abroad in London, so each of our table names is going to be a different tube stops (London Bridge, Earls Court, Notting Hill Gate). We're trying to get actual tube sign replicas.
