Crest Hollow Brides
Did anyone here who got married at crest hollow opt to use chaircovers w/ the sash? If so, did you use CH's vendor? Our CH rep. told us that since CH's chairs are shaped "odd" that she'd only recommend we use the house vendor, whose lowest price was $650.00! We're only having about 150 guests.
If you didnt use the chair covers, are you sorry you didn't and how would you rate the overall appearance of your room without them? My mom suggested that since the chairs are a wine color, that I use the burgundy tablecloth with white lace overlay and matching burgundy napkins. She said this would compliment the chairs and eliminate the need for the chaircovers.
I still second guess if we should use the covers, and i know my fiance wants them (much more so than me). Any imput?

Re: Crest Hollow Brides
We didn't use chair covers and we used the Ivory linens. Quite frankly I didn't notice the chairs on my wedding day.

Re: Crest Hollow Brides
Great, that's what I figured. I thought the 650.00 could be used toward something more important.

Re: Crest Hollow Brides
My sister and cousin both had weddings at CHCC, and I dopn't tink either of them used chair covers. I didn't notice the chairs at all. I think they were pretty. I usually only notice if chairs are ugly. I think the money is better spent elsewhere on something eople will notice, like the tulle and lights for the ceiling or viennese, etc...or in your pocket!

Re: Crest Hollow Brides
i've been to few weddings at CH (i'm getting married there also) ... and i haven't seen anyone use chair covers yet..
The room is so pretty and I feel the chairs just blend in. I'm sure the room will look even nicer w/ chair covers, but if you don't use them, noone would even notice it!
So IMO don't waste $ on chair covers. I would do a chocolate fountain instead

Re: Crest Hollow Brides
I used to work there. I only worked a handful of weddings that had the chair covers. The new chairs that they have now are nice. They aren't the old large burgundy chairs anymore. On the new chairs, the only thing that is burgundy is the seat. The back of the chair is a nice gold color. In my opinion its elegant looking and it goes great with the decor of the rooms.

Re: Crest Hollow Brides
Hi- I'm getting married there in July. I love CH but their chairs don't go with my beach theme. I am having a lot of blue, white and green. Mitch is my BM and he told us about their house vendor. We found out that they only sell ivory and that there are no other choice colors. We really want white to brighten things up a bit. So I am in the process of looking elsewhere for covers. I actually have an appt on Sunday with a chair cover company vendor on this site and she is bringing me samples to see wich ones fit best on those oddly shaped chairs. She is also charging 4.50 including cover, sash, set up and break down.
