...I just found out that the music director at my church is not available to play the organ at my ceremony. He referred me to someone who is also not available. Now, I've got the contact # of some organist in Florida that knows someone who knows my mother, etc. And it's turning into a huge deal, and is going to end up being $$$ (I wonder if not having music will cut down on the "donation" I need to provide the church??) and truth be told, I'm not even a big fan of organ music anyway. With that said - are string trios or quartets a good idea for ceremony music in a church? I think they would sound so much nicer and we'll already be paying extra. Can anyone offer a recommendation and give me a price range??
