What (if anything) are you getting you parents and FHs parents as wedding gift???

I have not mentioned this to FH yet. I know he will think it's not necessary. A little history, we're paying for this wedding all by ourselves, except for $1000 my dad is giving us. When FHs brother was married in 2004, they gave his mom a necklace and charm (We Love You Mom).

Any ideas on a nice gifts we can get our parents w/o going overboard?

Are you giving them parents albums? Maybe give them each a beautiful frame. Then after the wedding, you can give them a 8"10 pic of the two of you.

I don't think you need to do much, since you guys are paying for it yourselves.

I feel guilty, since both FH and my parents are paying for alot.
We are thinking of giving them each a little getaway.
My parents (A night in the city, at the Marriott Marquee, escape package, maybe play tickets).
His parents ( A weekend in Montauk or Vermont)

i didnt want to do anything, but i decided i found a poem on line and im going to print it on nice paper and put it in a frame. in my package is their parent albums and an 8x10. also the day of the wedding i am giving my parents special hankies.

Yes, we are getting them parent albums, but as part of our photo package we're 10 loose 8x10s, this is perfect!!
