'07 bride has a question about the Watermill

hey everyone, I'm an '07 bride who just booked the watermill and i'm sooooooo excited. I was just wondering since I booked without a tasting (they said they don't do them) how the food was and any other details you could give would be so appreciative. Thanks!

I thought the food was really good. I don't know why they don't do tastings. I think we had the fillet mignon and the chicken rollatini for the meat selection. I had no complaints. I wish I ate at the cocktail hr-but I was too excited to eat. I heard the st louis ribs and calamari and duck were excellent. I personally loved the raspberry intermezzo. Hope this helped a little. I had my wedding their in November & I couldn't be happier---everyone had a great time and the staff was amazing. The food is awesome. The only way you can get a tasting is if you go to their showcase they have every couple of months--it has some cocktail hour food, the chocolate foutain, cake etc....the chocolate mousse as the extra dessert people are still talking about. You will be so happy with them.

Dh and I had our wedding there and everything was wonderful. The food was great and the service was excellent. You will love the Watermill - no worries!

My guests raved about the food... the OOT ones thought the cocktail hour WAS the wedding??? Everyone loved everything and IMO extra add on's aren't needed/... if you want them fine but really there is more than enough food.

I love the Watermill. The staff was wonderfull!!!! I thought the food was great, and from what my guest said they liked it too. And if you want seconds its available. Samantha is the best. I went through her for my invites and favors. Just convienence. The prices weren't over the top. Defenatly go to a bridal expo they give there. They will mail you letters when they have them.

I used to work at the watermill and I went to my cousin's wedding there. I have to be honest , the Food is WONDERFUL...ask to see the kitchen...SO clean! I worked other places where this was not true. the staff is great...I still know a few people there! I didn't look to have my wedding there because I wanted something new since I worked there and went to a family wedding there and lived around the corner all my life, BUT I would HIGHLY recommend it to other brides!

My husband's sister had their reception at the Watermill and loved it. The food was great and the service was amazing.
