What are your "themes"?
Colors of BM Dresses?
Colors of Flowers?

We are thinking of Champagne for the BM dresses but I am stuck on flowers....

HELP PLEASE!!!

My bm dress color is plum purple. The accents will be lavendar and pink. The girls will carry pink roses and I will carry lavendar colored roses. The cp's will be a mix of purple and pink roses with hydrangea.

Champagne with red roses would look beautiful. Is the wedding / ceremony in the evening?

There's a June Brides thread on the 06 board, that might help you with some of your questions.

We're not having a theme, I'm just looking for everything to be "simple,but elegant"

BM dresses will be in Lilac, MOH will be in Violet and the GM will wear silver vests. The girls will have silver shoes to tie it together.

Not sure about flowers yet, I'm thinking white and lilac roses for me. As for the girls, I'm thinking pink, dark purple, yellow, and some greenery; it looks good in my head.

There are a lot of girls whose BMs are wearing Champagne, you should start another thread asking what their flowers will be. HTH!! GL!!

As for me - no theme yet. I've changed my mind on colors about a billion times already!

BM's are sweet pea... flowers will be peonies... and others in shades of pink... forgot your other Questions... sorry - I'm sick and out of it!

I like the idea of having rich colored roses with the dresses...just want to make sure they aren't too dark. The ceremony is at 3.

my wedding colors are turquoise and a mix of pinks ~ light pink and hot pink with white

my BMs are wearing turquoise as well as the GMs vests
(this is the color that we are using ~ not the actual dress)


my FG is wearing a white and light pink dress


my flowers are going to be in a variety of pinks and white
something a little similar to this


the BMs flowers are going to be a mix of pinks, whites, and blues

MIne are white with soft brushes of silver tones here and there.

Flowers all white and thing leaves sprayed with silver tones on it.

Wedding favors wrapped with white and silver flowers prints and white and each will have confetti flowers on them.

Cake boxes in white with white flower and small silver leaves.

Dummy Wedding Cake - White and spurts of soft silver.

All white wedding dress, silverish Tiara with swaroski on it.

My matron of honor will have a orchid dress (told her to where whatever color or dress she wanted -because I have no bridesmaids)

Flowergirl - all white dress similar to mine.

This is an old thread but for me I am thinking of all white. My flowers are all white with a touch of blush pink. I wanted to do a tiffany blue theme but I decided against that, if I do a tiff blue theme I am afraid I will go overboard with it. My BM's I have not decided what color Im going for, maybe a sage green, champagne is always nice but may look too close to the brides dress color in pics. Dont know yet??

My color theme is sage and gold. It's going to be a royal ball theme. I think it would be perfect since it will be an outdoor June wedding. My bridesmaids dresses are sage and gold with a pretty gold caviar beads boarding the bottom of the dresses. It's more of a cocktail dress. I'm still thinking on the choices of the flowers either with warm colors -pinks, corals, greens, etc. or purple -violet, lavender, etc. I wouldn't suggest going with champagne dresses for your bridesmaids since you are the bride since you will be wearing white. Whether your dress is white, ivory, champagne, etc. the colors will resemble too much to one another. If you are getting married in the summer, then definitely go with warm colors- corals, yellow, lavender, green, pink, etc. For winter, I've been seeing a lot of reds and deep hues. I hope that gives you a bit of suggestion or ideas. Go onto http://www.diybride.com, you'll find a lot of ideas for your ceremony, cocktail, and reception.
