Does anybody know a good Photographer and Video. That is not that expensive.
I went to Duet this week and We didn't understand what the guy was saying.

For Video - Timeless Treasures is great, I haven't had my wedding yet but I was very impressed with Ray. As for photog. there's definitely other options out there. We're using Spelman, but I met with Leli, Velevet Studios, and a few others that seemed fine. If you search on here, Patken seems to be popular as well.

Patken is great -thats who I am using. But I feel they are on the pricey side (JMO).

Pete from Wedding Cinema. He's located in Islip (by the airport) and he's great. $1100 for 3 dvd's, 7 hours of coverage, editing, music, highlight section and my favorite part... he'll let you view the video when he's 90% finished so if you don't like something, he'll change it right then.

Just make sure that if they give you a time limit, that it fits the amount of time you need from them. my guys are coming at 11am and our reception isnt over till 11pm, and they were fine

i second pete! he gives the best deal for the least amount of money.
leli and silverfox have great prices for photography. i chose leli because i liked his work best, but i was torn between the 2.

I just booked with Pat yesterday! He is amazing, really accomodating and his pacakge (around $1500) includes all day coverage. He is definitely willing to work with you and gives you a discount if you say yor are a LIW bride. It sounds like his basic package includes everything Wedding Cinema does, except he doesn't have a time limit, plus you get all of the raw footage from the day. FM if you have any questions!

We are using Artistic Images for photo. Artie did my best friend's wedding and he is AWESOME!!! His website is: Art-isticimages.com
For video we are using Timeless Treasures. Very inexpensive in comparison to others and FH and I were very impressed with his work. Check out some of his sample videos. They are a vendor on here.

Frank from Lca studios, was just amazing, he was easy to work very nonintrusive and welcomed all my suggestions. He also worked with our budget. I just loved my finished project, and it is something that I have watched over and over. I got married in Aug and received my wedding movie on x-mas eve. Which is just 4 mons. My movie poster (under smaple movie poster) and wedding clip (under sneak previews) are on the website.

Jim and Rose from Classical Look Photography were also great, very sweet and attentive. My album and proofs were amazing too, the color quality was the best I've ever seen. I had my proof in two weeks and all of them placed in 2 albums. Jim also worked with our budget. My wedding album was just beautiful.
I definately recommend schedulaing an appointment with both, you won't be disappointed.
