After getting to 8 units twice day and blood sugar still in the 650s we changed insulin

He was on Humlin, Now he's on Lantis

On Lantis he is only on 2 units twice a day. But he had a hypoglometic (??) episode and scared us badly

He took him back in to the vet the next morning. My vet was very concerned. Even called us on his day off with quickly blood results.

in less than 7 days Buddy is now in the 150's!!


We are very happy parents. Seems he was getting used to the change.

Finally got him regulated!!


It was a VERY long process and a VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY expensive process
We'll be on PB&J for a long time. (seriously, like we took a loan and a new credit card for this)

But our cat is back!
