Queens or Nassau reception

Hello '07 brides! I'm trying to help a friend by getting prices for a Nov. 07 in Queens or Nassau ONLY! If you're getting married there and wouldn't mind sharing the place and some prices, it would be greatly appreciated! It doesn't have to be November prices, any month will do, she just needs to get an idea to set up a budget.

Also if your place has, I guess it would be a package (flowers or dj inc. etc.), please say so.

Did not book, but checked out Ariana Waterfall recently for a Winter 07 wedding. They could not guarantee their price would not change for 07, but for 06 the package prices started at $10,000, which included limo, flowers, photo or video. If you wanted to include more options, that was available to her.

I also visited Stewart Manor CC which I think is perfect for a winter wedding. They quoted me $75 per person for a December date. It has a very cozy feeling.

The best bet is for your friend to visit the places because you each person has a vision of what their affair should be.

I booked Stewart Manor COuntry Club... (close to Garden City, Franklin Square) we got $52.00 a person for a Saturday afternoon in February. Floral centerpieces are included as well as your typical cocktail hour with premimum liquors. Dinner is a choice of 3 entrees with your usual starters: salad, pasta or soup, dessert (in addition to the wedding cake). The cake is also included (you choose your cake with the baker that they work with.)

I loved the quaint, charming look of the place. The dance floor is huge and they have a fireplace which will be great for a winter wedding! The people that you will deal with are friendly and helpful! GOOD LUCK!
