cd wedding favor ideas

Hi! I am looking for cd favor packaging ideas that can also be used as a place card too

Maybe a hang tag or something I can put on it--I was thinking of using glassine envelopes to put the cd into

Any ideas??????????

We did CD placecards. I'll have to take a pic and post it, but this is what we did:

I used slimline clear jewel cases. They were totally clear, so that the CD (which we put in facing out) showed thru the back. The CD had a sticker (I used the CD STomper) that I printed with snowflakes, our names and the date. I made a relatively plain cover to slip in the front (it just had snowflakes all over and our wedding date in the bottom right corner). The back of the cover has the list of songs (sheet folded in half for easy printing).

For the placecard part, I printed the name and table numbers out, and cut out each square with a paper cutter. The names were at the top of the square; the table number towards the bottom. This was mounted on a slightly larger square of cardstock (which matched to our other paper goods).

I attached the card to the middle of the CD case with double stick tape. I wrapped the whole shebang in red ribbon (again, which matched the colors) which was held on with doublestick tape on the back. I finished it off with a wax seal in the middle of the ribbon in the middle of the card on the front.

They came out really well.

I got the idea from a post on the DIY board and modified it.

I bumped the CD thread on the DIY board. Lots of good ideas there.
