I'm soooo sad.
My wedding is in two weeks....one of my bridesmaid found out she's 11 weeks pregnant and at the 1st fitting her dress did not zip up.
Second, another bridesmaid and groommen cancelled on us yesterday... His father passed away yesterday...Now family members are cancelling on us....I feel my wedding is going to be a disaster.

how could such a beautiful event be a disaster. You and your fh...your boyfriend your LOVE are exchanging vows binding you together...there is TOO much beauty and joy it that to have these hiccups ruin it.
does it suk, sure it does. but it's their loss if they don't go! I've had some crappy stuff happen too, but NOTHING can spoil my wedding for me (as long as fh is with me, I am happy)
keep your head up sweetie...and if you go below your minimum, call on your LIW girls!
btw, is there any way another dress can be ordered for your bm- or maybe another style in the same color. maybe we can help you find something that she can wear...post a pic!

Is too late to change the style but this is the dress... i'm having them pull up the dress and make an empire waist so she has room....i have no idea how is going to look but hopefully it comes out ok.

I think that will look great...the top looks like an empire waist would be just as flattering- and think of how beautiful her complexion will be in pics!
although inconvenient, it is a happy time.
I am sorry for the loss in your GM's family.

It's so hard to plan so far ahead...because these two things that have happened are totally unforseen....and you can't be mad at anyone.
Just enjoy your day, the most important person will be there...your FH..you will be beautiful, and the wedding willbe beautiful no matter what...it's a day of love!

They can let out dresses, TRUST ME!! I had to have it done for my brother's wedding. I think they had to let out my skirt an entire size because of my puerto rican azz. So it is possible she can still wear the dress. Just make sure they give her enough room for the next 2 weeks.
As for people dropping out, don't worry, the people that will be there will still be happy for you, and you are marrying the love of your life. No number of people or problems could ever change that!! And if you don't make your minimum, then have the hall throw something in!!
