Booked for June 07 what do you girls have done

I booked for June 23rd 2007 at Vanderbilt Mansion in Centerport. I only booked the church, site and caterer. What else are you ladies doing this far ahead?

I have the photographer, videographer, florist and dj along with the church and reception hall. The limos are next.

May 19, 2007 and I have the church, hall, video, photo and DJ. Flower and Limo still to be done but I am taking a break for a while.

You are not behind. Some of us move fast! But dont worry. I would get your big vendors out of the way soon just so you have a full pick before they book up. Good Luck!!!!

i saw trumpet people( i just need to book one)
i've been talking to invite people to have one customized so hopefully that will be finalized soon.
I saw the dress i want, just have to get it.

fh is working on hm looking for best airfare price b/c hawaii is expensive.

BTW/FYI everyone in my family is telling me i'm crazy for doing everything early but i'd rather get everything done so i don't have to worry about the little stuff the week b4 the wedding(b/c it's gonna be crazy as it is)

I only booked the hall last night. That was soo stressful that I needed to take a break for a little bit. I am going to go to the big bridal show at the end of the month to get as much info. as I can from the vendors and then start making appointments for the different vendors.

I hope I am not too far behind. I hope I will be able to get the vendors I want.

i did alot early only to get the 05 rates.. try and get stuff done in 06 to get the 06 rates

I am so excited I have a date twin.

I feel like it is so far away and I am sad because I want to get married this year.

girl!! its going to be here sooner than you think!!! take it from a girl whose been engaged for 3 and a half years!! I cant believe we are saying "next year "!!!!! But to answer your post, def make sure to book the bigger vendors (especially if you have your heart set out on someone) right away so you get 1. get 06 rates and 2. book with them for your date!!!

Just a tip, I was told not to book photo with Brett Michaels... A girl I know had serious problems... I think that was the name of the company. JUST AN FYI!!

I've only booked hall, dj and photo/video so far. I'm hoping to get a minister when I go to LI for Easter. I can't believe how much some of you have gotten done already. Definitely jealous!

Hi girls...i am very new to all of this...I just wanted to say hello and read along.....I booked my reception at Jericho Terrace and i am freaking out at all the work everyone else has done already...i thought was a head of the game...
Does anyone know anything about DUET Photography??

I have the reception, church and DJ. Next on my list is photo/video and flowers. Then my dress, then BM dresses. After that I can relax for a bit ! ! I want to have photo/video done by the end of March and flowers done by end of April. I think this a "good" time line. Although looking at what others have done for weddings that are after mine makes me a bit nervous that I am going to slow ! !

So far, I've only booked the church and reception for my June wedding. Reading these posts you definitely start to feel the pressure to get more done. I would say definitely look into photographer and dj but don't worrry. You do have plenty of time. It will be fun to spread everything out a little bit. Keeps things exciting!
