It just happened, and VERY quickly!
My first signs were my breasts getting bigger and tender, and I was hungrier than usual.

I was off the pill for over a year and we were being somewhat careful but then we were like "well, let's give this a try". Poof! First time! I "knew" at like week # 2. I felt different. I could tell something was going on with my body. We were up at my husband's best friends cabin and everyone was drinking,etc. I had one sip of a wine cooler and was like "Hmnn, this doesn't taste right". I knew it had happened. Of course the non stop puking that started occurring about three weeks later was a dead giveaway

i want a baby. we just got married. i dont know i want to start trying. DH does and then gets nervous who knows. i think we'll just be less "careful".

a co-worker told me the same thing....her breasts were very tender and sore and would hurt while taking showers

With baby number one we were not trying but were not NOT trying.. if you know what I mean.. we got preggo pretty quickly.. With baby #2 we were trying and also had a good luck streak!
