starting to hate all of this

I wrote a really long whiney post.
then figured why bother....
it is what it is
and that is that

I just want to have fun with all this
not cry
and sleep would be good.

Sitting here with 2 months to go, I'm at the point where I'm just thinking, phuck it, I don't care anymore.

I was joking with my fh and i asked him if he is excited about getting married...and he replied "yes, we won;t have to do any more planning" (all the wedding stuff is spread out on the living room floor) It is not easy to plan a wedding, very time consuming.

I can't even imagine what it's going to be like when we get closer. My job is so busy NOW, I cant even imagine what it'll be like when the wedding gets closer AND I have to work at the same time!

I am sooo with you. This is supposed to be the best time... so much fun. It is not. In fact, I am miserable. Picking my dress was a fight with my mom, picking invitations has been a disaster, picking photographer another disaster. She tells me she is paying for the wedding but she has invited half the guests and is flipping because FI and his family have invited a total of 75 people. She has told me that she won't pay if I don't make my FI invite my brother in law to be an usher. She has insisted on the most expensive invitations while at the same time constantly advising me that I am on a "budget." I am on sleeping pills, anti-anxiety pills and I think i am seriously depressed. And I know in my heart that it won't get any better for the next six months. She monopolizes the meeting with every vendor, she is constantly saying what she wants (not what i want), my FI is starting to get really pissed that my mom is destroying this time for me and he talks poorly about her to me and then I get mad that there is so much chaos. I hate it all. Period.

I'm starting to feel like if I had it to do over, I'd go to the justice of the peace and have a tiny dinner gathering afterward. I'm sure I'll enjoy my wedding but never imagined planning could actually border on burdensome at times.

I know how you feel I am thinking about the sleeping pills, but don't want to be groggy in the morning. I was on anti anxiety but ran out of them and my insurance. I won't have insurance again until we are married. I'll be taking myself to the health food store for some natural downers!!

Anyone besides me got a dart board???
I am thinking of pasting peoples pictures on it that ticked me off
first on my list
my sister for backing out of the wedding party with no good excuse except to hurt my feelings.

I dont know why this is supposed to be fun and stress free. Maybe if I were a celebrity with endless amounts of money. Cannot wait to be wifey and be on the beach

I've had quite a few days lately where I break down and cry from all the pressure. Now that it is 19 days away, we have most everything done (except the little things like placecards, packing up everything for the hall and church, etc.). But I am at the point where I just want it OVER WITH, and I hate feeling that way.....

I refuse to let ANYTHING bother me. Everything that comes at me I just try to brush it off. I want this to be fun! I can't wait for the wedding and for the planning to stop! It's like I have another job.

i've been at this stage for about 2 months now my mom is being amonster, i'm working full time and going to school part time and trying to plan everything and FH doesn't really care about all the little details that need to be looked at...

Right there with you FH said that had he known it would be so stressful he would have agreed to a destination wedding in Mexico

But I will say this, it only gets stressful (at least for us) once the invites go out. Prior to that it was fun to plan.

My married friends all said to look at it as one more hurdle to cross before our 3 week honeymoon in Tahiti

I dont know what it is, but lately i've been getting so emotional when I think about all the big changes after the wedding.
The wedding planning is definitely a stress, i'm breaking out like crazy!! i'm so stressed with everything, part of me just wants to get it over with.
