**flowergirl dress...starting to get nervous...

whats the ABSOLUTE latest i should order my flowergirl dresses?

--im having a dilemma...im living in nc & having the wedding in ny in sept...i cant come up there until the end of march...i know i have to have my bm sizes by the beginning of march the latest (thats another whole issue), per paradise bridal so i didnt know if the fg dresses were on the same timeline....the woman im working with at paradise is in florida until may...um, hello? i need her help!!

--I cant find a fg dress that i like except for eden or in davids bridal, neither of which paradise bridal deals with...

--does anyone know if i can just order only the fg dress in davids then just have them fitted at paradise? i really didnt even want to use them but im having trouble finding another dress

--i only see a few designers that have fg dresses, can you give me some names please? ive checked jordan & mon cheri because i know paradise uses them but other than that, im clueless (alfred angelo too)

Flowergirl dresses should be purchased no more than four months before the wedding.

Children grow a lot faster - height and weight...

If you want to order them earlier, make sure they order the dresses at least one size bigger - you can always have them bring it in if it's too big - but you'll need that extra room.

I havent ordered mine yet and my wedding is in july. They told me that I could wait until 3-4months before. have you tried USAngels

Mine came from an online store, they deliver in 2-3 weeks. I think for the most part that little girls don't really need to be fitted. Unless the dress is huge on them, I don't see a reason for them to spend extra money on alterations. they have no curves like us "older girls" have,

See i'm having the same problem, sort of. The dress that i want is from davids bridal, which is over an hour and a half from where i live. And my sister tends to be a pain in the butt and the idea of making her drag my nieces up the island, just makes me cringe. It wouldn't be a fun day.

Unfortunately davids bridal is the only place that has the dress i want. So i was curious if i could just order the dress and have it shipped to me.

Do you think that would be possible? Is that too risky?

i was actually going to call them to see if theyd do that for me b/c i really like theirs the best, even though i said id never use them b/c when i went for my appointment, they just left me alone without helping me at all....but i'll find out....

i ordered mine 4/15 for august and was fine - came in the end of july - she got fitted the first week in august - ordered from gownfind - i only looked at dresses with flower girl at the end of march

so it takes about 3 mos or so to come in...ok, so if i go up to ny in march & look, i should still be fine?
