NWR - REEEAAALLLYYYY Personal question....

How many times a week do you and your FH you know what? We were talking about this at work and I was really embarassed about my answer. Sometimes, we can go once a month. Sometimes once a week but usually no more than that. Is this normal? We don't live together so that's definitely playing a factor but I'm worried...what if it doesn't change after we're married. I work all day, usually from 9-9 and he works from 2-12. I'm getting frustrated. Anyone else have this problem?

ETA - We've been together for 9.5 years now and the first few years it was almost everyday. It's gradually gotten less and less....

I asked the same question on here a couple of months ago. I've been dating my FH almost 11 years and it's the same thing- it used to happen every day and now it's almost as long as once a month. I think it's natural for the cycle to ebb and flo. JMO.

yea same here - the first few years it was all the time now its died down to whenever. we dont live with each other either so its hard to spend the night with our busy schedules but honestly its totally normal. im all about quality instead of quanity

I think it's perfectly natural, these day and age, it's hard to get in the mood to do it everyday especially when you both work. Either one or the other is too tired after work. Weekend is best for that kinda stuff.

A study was done by the Sex Info and Education Council where results show htat couples do it about 57 times a year - that's about 5 times a month?

Same here. Been together 6 years, I would say every 3 weeks, sometimes there can be spurts of once a week!

your fine, you and fh have to go around your schedules, plus it may be more for one couple over you.... personally fh and i live together and we "have relations" on the weekend, his job canbe stressful and he gets tired. trust me, don't worry, and i am sure people lie also.... i did hear after your married it calms down.... i doubt it. maybe for the people who do it like 4x a week anyway, don't worry. if you 2 are happy that is what matters

FI arrouses and pleases me every night!!!!! But we do "that" 2-3 times a month. We're not 20-somethings anymore!

We have been together 2.5 years - and we still do it 3-4 times a week! Although this week has been a bit slower... We are total horn dogs though....

We've been together almost 6 years and we do it about 1-2 days a week, 3 if we're lucky. He used to whine about it when he wasn't working full time, but now that we both work full time he's usually to tired for workday romps. We usually keep it to the weekends.

With my last boyfriend I think it was all we had in common. So sometimes if it is less frequent it may mean something good!

I think as long as you and FH are both comfortable with your sex lives, then "how many times" really doesn't matter.

once a day- usually we take 1 day off a week ( cause he wants to) I have no complaints...I guess Im over you know what!

about once per week -- we both have completely opposite schedules and that certainly adds to the situation. Just remember, life will always get in the way and we need to enjoy each other when we can.

Yeah, about once a week. I must admit however since we got engaged it seems to be less. I hope it's just the stress of everything.

I should really have my FI read this page because he thinks it is just me. It is usually about once a week and we don't live with each other so that does effect it. But also lately after engagement it does seem like it is even less but I have been really stressed about finding a place. He should be happy we found a place maybe I will be less stressed.

everyone's totally different. don't feel bad about your libido!

FH and i don't live together--so it puts a damper on our available time to do it. (we both live with our families--no privacy!) so try as much as we can on the wknds--maybe 3-4x a week. but i think i'm definetely not the norm and have a higher than normal drive--as i would prefer it daily. but that's just me--every woman is different.

don't worry about how much you and FH do "it"...as long as you are happy when you do get to business, and the quality of it is great--no worries. but if it's infrequent AND it's not good--then you might have to take more time and figure out what's going on in the bedroom.

I have lived with Fh for a little over a year. We have bursts of doing "it". Life sometimes is so hectic that all I want to do is cuddle, which is in my opinion just as intimate. Dont worry, you're getting married!

lol this is something we were just talking about last night! We're together about 6+ years now and it used to be like rabbits (as his brothers said) then we slowly got more and more stressed w/ work and life it became like 2x's a week then like weekends when were sitting around the house doing nothing bored. Now that I finished school it perked up and guess what UTI!!! Dr said it was (as he patted FH's knee) over exuberant! (me and sister belive i was passing a kidney stone lol). Since then he's been scared so once in the last month!!! I can't belive that. I'm hoping that with the wedding plans out of the way soon it will perk up to a few times a day like when we first started lol
