thank yous
ok so how long did it take you to send out thank yous? from the day of your wedding? did you cash the checks before you sent the thank yous out? if i get mine out by friday is that ok? and can i go to the bank tomorrow to deposit the checks?

I cashed my checks the day after the wedding. And sent my thank yous about a month and half after the wedding, I think that would be fine to send them out friday. The earlier the better this way it's all done.

we cashed our checks the day after the wedding. I'm still writing my thank you's. They can't go out anyway since we have not gotten the picture inserts back from the photog. yet.

Girl you have plenty of time. It's socially acceptable to send them out 2-3 months after the wedding.

We cashed our checks about 10 days after our wedding, when we got back from our honeymoon...Our thank you cards were sent out about 6 weeks after our wedding date.

We cashed our checks the day after the wedding. We left the day after that for our HM so we couldnt leave the checks in the house.
Thank yous - I went by the 3 month thing. I had them out in just about 2 months and 3 weeks.

I sent my TY's out 5 weeks after the wedding. We deposited all the checks the day after the wedding.
you have plenty of time for your TY's. definitely deposit the checks!

We cashed the checks 4 weeks after the wedding (even the checks that were sent in with declining RSVPs  )
Thank you cards were mailed out at 3 months and 2 weeks. But, I wrote a novel on every card.

We cashed our checks the day after our wedding since we we were leaving for our honeymoon the next day. We didn't want to leave all that cash and checks in the house while we were away. And I'm very happy to say that I just put the Thank You's in the mail today so everyone should have them before my 3 month mark which is Sat!

We cashed our checks about 3 weeks after our wedding (we went on our HM right from the wedding and had to open a joint account so it took us a little while after we got home to cash the checks). Our thank you notes for gifts that were received at our wedding were sent out 7 weeks after our wedding.

I cashed my checks 12 days after the wedding. I have no idea when out picture thank yous will be ready. Hopefully we'll have them out within 3 months.

We got married on a Friday & cashed hte checks on Sunday (only 2 days later) we got alot of cash & before we left for our honeymoon we wanted all the money out of our apartment. I sent out my thank yous right after the price of stamps went up--i tried to get them out before the 1st of the year it just didn't happen. You can cash the checks when you want--I hate when people hold on to my checks for too long & don't cash them that is why I cashed them right away.

We cashed our checks the weekend after our wedding. Today we are ordering our thank you, so I will probally get them out in the next month or so. It depends how long it takes for me to get them.
