Sooo need to VENT!!!
FMIL pisses me off!!!! SHE called my mom monday and told her she wants this dress she found in Green.. first of all... you dont know her, she does this to get what she wants, my mother has not yet picked a color!!! Second, FMIL KNOWS I wanted green Bridesmaids dresses!!!! ummm... you DONT do that either.. then she has been fishing my mom for information on my dress!!! asking if it was online, my mom told her NO!
If she knew my dress EVERYONE in the world would know!!! her other DIL didnt want to show her her dress and finally did, well she then showed me, all her friends, everyone that came over, and then constantly nagged FH to come look at it online even when he said I dont care, i dont want to see!!! I told FSIL I wasnt telling anyone about my dress so I know FMIL knows she is NOT supposed to know! Yet she goes behind my back and gets on my mom about it!
I am so tired of her playing her angles!!!!

From all the stories you have told me your FMIL sounds like a piece of work! OMG! Stay strong, and don't let her push you around. At least you have your mom - who sounds like she is uber-supportive through this

My MIL also bugged the crap out of me about my dress. there was NO WAY I was showing it to her for the same reason you're not showing her - everyone in the world would have seen it! she would always ask me to describe it and ask about beadwork, etc. She can be a real PIA! but I did not cave!

I just dont know how to deal with her anymore! she is always playing angles and is too hard to keep up with! She has had so many yrs of practice and i am not used to her type!!! I just find it SOOOO wrong of her to do that to my mom... even if my mom would tell her NO I want that color, then FMIL would talk smack about my mom and how mean my mom is for wanting FMIL color!!! I know how mean all this sounds, but i have grown to know the angles she plays! She already had her daughters wedding, let my mom have hers... Geeezzzz (had some other choice words).. among this and other things, i feel like this wedding is not mine and FH's, but FH's and his mom's! i am NOT kidding! a part of me doesnt want a wedding anymore... hummm Vegas?!?!?!

ha.. FMIL would NEVER ask me about my dress, she knows i wont tell her.. she goes to FH or my mom!!! that is what makes me mad.. it's like the little child that gets a no from mom so goes to dad!
