NWR - Credit Card Scare
When I got back from my trip there was a phone message from ShoeBuy.com calling about my order.  I managed to get back to them today. They told me the order was cancelled because I didn't call them back right away. I said no problem because I NEVER placed an order with them. Turns out, someone got hold of my CC number and used it to order expensive shoes to be shipped to Florida!!! I don't know exactly why they were verifying the order, but I'm grateful (and now without a CC for 7-10 days).
I called the CC company and it doesn't look like anything else was charged (thank goodness).
Just a reminder to pay attention!

According to ShoeBuy.com, the bogus purchase was made on January 19 (which was before I left). They called while I was in Vegas to verify before shipping. I'm just grateful they called me to verify and actually cancelled the order when I didn't get back to them right away.
