Anyone been to the East Wind?
We have our wedding reception booked at the East Wind in Wading River. Has anyone been to a wedding there and if so, what did they think?
Does anyone have their wedding booked their also?

I was there for a wedding about 2 years ago. It was beautiful (and it was winter). the food was sooo good. the only bad thing was that my fh and i had coffee spilled on our backs!! thank god it was left over cool coffee but we had to leave early. our server barely said sorry....like it was our fault! I was not happy with the service at all to say the least. and to top it all off....as we were drying off with our napkins...the staff started to clear the centerpieces and knocked the huge vase down and it shattered on the table. the whole table was dripping wet and a few people left with soaked jackets and purses.

My sister got married at the Estate years ago and I 've been to many Christmas parties there. I'm having my reception there. I've never had a problem with the food or service!!! FM me if you have any questions!!!! You should check out their next expo. Make sure you go with an empty stomach!!!!!

I have been to a wedding there. It was beautiful! I would have loved to have my reception there but it was just a little too far away for me. I think you will be very happy!

I went to a wedding about 5 years ago there and it was great!!! My FH still talks about this place to people. He tells everybody about the East Wind and how it was by far the best wedding he has ever been to (and we have been to many, many weddings at all different places). He wanted to have our wedding reception there, but it was too far for us (he is still a little upset with me about this). If the Floral Terrace does not do a good job on our wedding day, I know I am never going to hear the end of it because East Wind was definitely his first choice! You made a great decision and you will be very happy!!!!!!!!!

I did. I got married there..........the place is sooooooo beautiful, and so are the grounds, they have so well-manicured, and the floweres are so bright and pretty; especially in the summer/fall time.

We went to a wedding there last year and it was amazing. It was def our first choice when we started looking at reception places. We're so happy we booked there, we have heard nothing but good things. Def see if you can go to an expo there.

I had my reception at the Estate in November and it was fabulous!!! I can't say enough great things about East Wind...Food and service were top-notch and the grounds are breath-taking!!! FM if you have any questions! Congrats!!

We are having our wedding in the North Hampton room. We have heard the cocktail hour is enough food to fill everyone, can't wait. Going to the next expo they are having in February. Also, we are meeting with a florist this week, we met him last week while taping a tv show. We are really looking foward to seeing how the show comes out. Will fill in with more info as soon as we have it.
