A Chinese Food First
So DH and I ordered last week and I picked it up going home from the train station from our favorite restaurant.
I get it home we set up for dinner and we eat. It was awful! We couldn't believe just how inedible it was. DH calls the restaurant. They know us very well and he tells them how bad it is and he wants our money back. They are very upset, they ask specifically what was wrong and he tells them.
They said they were sorry and will refund our money. They ask if we wanted a new order and we declined.
5 minutes later we hear a car pull up our driverway and someone knocks. It's our chinese food delivery dude. He proceeds to walk into our house and inspect the food that was already in the garbage! Asking us what is wrong with it. I can't even believe this is happening! There were a few pieces of food on DH's plate and we tell him what was wrong. He apologizes and asks if we want another order.
Get this:
We say no, it's late already and we're done. He says ok. He proceeds to pack up the remaining food and what was in the bag and take it back to the restaurant. He wants to show it to the chef!
As he leaves he says that next time, he will make our food. (I guess he doubles on delivery and cooking)
As soon as he got in his car, we both looked at each other and lost it. I have never had a delivery person come to my house to pick up food! We are not even big about sending food back in a restaurant!
We laughed so hard that we cried. Talk about customer service and quality control!
By the way-we would go back there in a second. Their food is usually outstanding!

I joke about it because we go there so often that I say we own a few tables and chairs in the restaurant.
