Phyllis rules!! But I am still pissed off!!
So I went to see Phyllis today and my God am I so happy that I decided to see her. Everyone was right, this woman absolutely knows her stuff. I am relieved that my dress will be in her care for alterations.
Now on to the pissy part.
As most of you know I went through hell and high water with my bridal salon and my dress. Apparently even though I have the dress, I am STILL having problems. While Phyllis was checking the dress, she told me that they NEVER DID THE HOLLOW TO HEM I PAID $150 FOR!!!! It was supposed to be done by the designer, but there's no way in hell they did it. The skirt is off center (you can tell by where the beading lies), the middle is shorter than the sides, which are still 3" too long, the inside was dirty, the strings that hang the dress was twisted, the netting underneath had pulls and looked like it was cut & sewn back on any which way, I could go on and on.
Basically I have to pay for the hollow to hem to be done AGAIN. She said she will do her best to get the skirt straight. I told my mother this while trying not to blow up, because I know this is the last thing she needs but she was the one who told me not to worry about getting the dress there. She told me to go there tomorrow, and if they give me any problems, then she will call them. I am pissed beyond belief. I gave them $150 for them to basically ruin my dress.
The good thing that has come out of this is that I feel that Phyllis is more than capable of fixing this mess. I am going there tomorrow and demanding that my $150 be reimbursed. ARGHHHH I needed this to happen this week like I needed a hole in the head.....

Hell freaking yes. My mistake was not taking pics before she put the pins in the dress. But either way my receipt from her showing I need a hollow to hem should be more than sufficient.
I am contemplating going to the media about this because I am so fed up with the salon.
