halls booked for 07??

I am noticing that a bunch of you have already booked your halls! I should be starting this week. Have you noticed that the halls are getting booked fast when you go to check them out????

It depends on where you go. I booked my hall in October and I got the last Sat. night left in July 07, but it is a 1 wedding at a time hall. Some halls have more than 1 wedding at a time, so they are usually easier to get a date. I would look everywhere because you never know!! Good luck!

Your also getting married in May, like me which happens to be a very popular time of year to be married. Our hall had 3 weddings in May, and it just so happened our date was open, (thank god). I would look now, to be on the safe side. Good Luck.

I have a friend who's wedding is that day. He booked his hall in August and I believe most of the places had the date open. I would go as soon as possible so you can get your favorite hall!!!

I booked in November for 2 years in advance, and there was already a wedding the weekend that was my 1st choice. Shocking!

Girl you have to get on it or you will not get your desired date. That is a holiday weekend. 7 brides on here is already booked so your pickings are slim. I would look at the official list to see what places are already booked.

Thanks! actually I think I am moving my date to June anyway...me and my FH talked about it and I think I want it a little warmer out.. so we may do June. I have my first appointment on friday at villa Lombardi's..can't wait!!!

If you're set on a specific date then u should get moving because I had some trouble getting the date I wanted at other halls. FH wanted 7-7-07 at all costs so we went to Marina del Rey in the Bronx and they were already booked for that date and the week after! So if I were you I would go visit some places soon and get a feel of what dates are free.

yes i would say book your hall ASAP. I am getting married the same day as you i think i booked my hall back in sept or august. I booked the INN at East Wind and some people have already booked for 2008! Good Luck with finding your hall!!

You should definitely start looking now. I may be making this up, but I thought that June was the most popular month to get married in. So you may have even more competition. I booked right before Christmas and they already had 2 Saturdaies in June '07 booked.

I would start looking at halls. i booked my hall back in may, for june of '07, and the hall already had booking for june and beyond.. good luck!!!

I booked Giorgio's in October for April 28th 07. There were only two Saturday nights open that month. If you want a Saturday night book the hall now!

I booked my hall real early but that was only because I'm getting married near Christmas and I wanted to see the halls and book my hall during that time. When I went to look at East Wind, the Country Gardens was already booked for my date (that was okay though cause it was not big enough for the amount of people we wanted- and we LOVE The Estate) so that got me moving as well. I also didn't want to have to pick a hall only because it had my date available- I wanted to pick the perfect place for me and my FH.

Thats a popular date, check out the 07 list and you will see on this site alone how many brides are getting married on your day so imagine brides not signed on to this site.

I say start looking for you hall.

Moving your date to June probably won't make a difference in the popularity.. both May & June are very popular. I think you will be fine.. many people book weddings less than a yr in advance... of course not as much is available.. but if you aren't dead set on 1 place and 1 date, I'm sure if you book within the next month or so you should be fine.
