Is it too early to order a bridal gown?
Hey Girls!!
Just needed some input. Do you think it's too early to order a bridal gown. My wedding is not until Nov. 2, 2007 and I am not sure if it's too early. If I get the dress in way before the wedding, will the dress dis-color?

It is absolutely not too early to order a bridal gown now. I have already ordered mine and it wont be in until July of this year. I ordered it in September 2005. My wedding isn't until July of 2007. So to answer that question NO it is not too early to order. Some designers take 9 -12 months before they come in as mine will.
The discoloration question is something i have inquired and the answer to that question is NO it wont discolor if they store it in a well cool place as most Bridal salons have. It's possible but again if its stored appropriately it wont.

I would suggest waiting a few months before you order a gown. I've heard of way too many 2 dress brides who ordered early and then found another dress that they liked better. I'm not even going to start looking until this summer and my date is June 07.

I oredered mine already. And my salon is keeping it there for me. But it'll take 6 to 8 months to come in so I'm not worried at all.

I feel so far behind...
But I wanted to wait to the year mark before I do that..mainly so I can loose wait..
And I'm a total flake..I'll probably second guess my decision or my taste my change between then and now
