A wedding I went to recently had no bridal party but it was a second marriage for both the bride and groom.

I did recently - first wedding for both - It was fine. I think the guests were a little surprised when the bride came down the aisle so fast -I know I was - but there was nothing wrong with the wedding.

First wedding for us and we only had a best man and a maid of honor....no bridesmaids or groomsmen. It worked well for us.
I am a MOH in my best friends wedding and she is doing this too. Her fiance only has a best man.
DH and I also went to a second wedding where the ONLY people to walk down the asile were the officiant, the groom and his parents and the bride and her father. It was fine.

I'M ONLY HAVING A MOH AND A BM. T ME IT MADE NO SENSE TO HAVE A BRIDAL PARTY. I WOULD RATHER MY GIRLS BE GUESTS, WEAR WHAT MAKES THEM FEEL PRETTY, AND TRULY ENJOY THEMSELVES. THEY'RE THERE FOR ME WHETHER THEY ARE A "BM" OR NOT.
