My Fab 12/10/05 Wedding at Flowerfield!- link to pics
First I want to thank all of you girls- when I joined this site- I was not 100% into my planning anymore- and you girls got me excited again and I made my wedding everything I wanted it to be.
Over all it was a Great Day- I enjoyed every minute of it- and I remember to reapply lipgloss the whole night!
ok here is my Review:
Party Panache in Great Neck-A+
Invites, Envelope printing, favor tags, hotel cards, place cards
Working with the women of Party Panache was truley a great experince, they listened to what I wanted and guided me into picking the best invites - they were pock folders with silver ribbon on the front flap- perfect for the season- they truley set the tone for the wedding. I ordered all of my paper products thru them- they all matched the invites- a small detail- but it was important to me
Adrienne's in Islip- A-
My Dress, Veil, and Bridesmaid Dresses
Sofia A+++++++++
Adrienne's ws only my second stop in my dress hunt- but when I walked in they were having a truck show- my dress was on a manquin- I loved it right away- we ordered it that day- in came in on time and the alternations came out perfect
I had a ballon bustle- were the train was tucked up under the dress- I highly recommend this
My veil- it matched my dress perfectly- I loved it
Bridesmaid dresses- I fell in love with a waters and waters dress- they ordered them for me, sent 2 to the NYC store b/c 2 of my girls lived there- they loved beautiful- came in on time and the alternations were perfect
Macy's- My shoes- A
totally by accident I was looking for something else- I fell in love with peep toe Nina shoes- I bought them that day- they hurt after 5 hours- not bad
Pre- Wedding Prep
Ceta Boutique-A+
4 layer Facial- I got this the week before the wedding- I was glowing-
Symetry Salon in Setauket B+
Mani/pedi/Blow out
I got forver french nails- they were nice- alittle ton much white for my taste
my pedicure was nice- french
and the blow out for my RD was great- my one issue with them was the price- first they didn't take Amex- which drives me nuts- then they charged us all different prices even thought we got the same things- we didn't realize until after- for example- 1 BM had to get tips before the forever french- her nails were less then mine and I didn't need any tips-
Rehershal Dinner- Three Village Inn - B
I wasn't 100% happy with the room lay out- we had 3 tables of 10- I would have perfered smaller tables with less people- the food was good- not great- I should had been more invloved with the planning
Grooms Cake- Audrey's Bakery- A++++
Jake has a 2005 Saleen Mustang- we drove all the way to Michagan to get it b/c no dealers in NY had any- he loves this car- as we speak it's garaged for the winter- I got him a cake that looked JUST LIKE IT- it was amazing- it was so cute- he loved it
Custom Glam Girl.com- A+
"lucky Him" Sweat Shirt, "My Husband is a Hottie" T -Shirt and Blue I Love Jake" underwear
Great Website, great Prices- quick delivery- everyone loved all my stuff from them
The Day of
Hollywood Salon in Setauket - A+
Hair and Make-up
they did such a great job- it didn't take that long for them to do 6 girls- Everyone looked great and like themselves which was what we wanted
they said we were the nicest bridal party they ever had in- I highly recommend them
Sommerset Limo-B+
I had 2 300M limos - 1 to pick up me and the girls and one for Jake and the guys- on time, clean - fine
Coming home I got a Esclade for the BP and a limo for Jake and I to go to the Garden City hotel- instead of a Limo Jake and I got a late model Mercedes Benz- and the driver went the most a$$ backwards way- it really annoyed me b/c I was so tired
they also picked us up to and from the airport- they were on time and even waited for 3 hours when we got back b/c of plane and luggage trouble (I'll get to that later)
Dyker Heights Florist - A
The recpetion looked perfect - exactly how I wanted it- I had all white flowers in square vases surrounded my candles- people took them home- they looked so great
Boquets- My looked great- and all the BMs looked great- except for my sister/MOH- hers was suppose to be bigger then the other BM and it was smaller- it wasn't the end of the world- we didn't let it bother us
Paino Player- Dave Tabanick A+
he played for the ceremony and cocktail hour- it was great- a nice touch
Pro - Line Studio- A+
I just got my proofs and I love 90% of them- they were easy to work with- very nice and professional- they knew the layout of Flowerfield and where to take us to pose- my photojourlist got some amazing shots- I will scan them - I promise
Ej the DJ- A
I think they played a great variety of music- everyone was dancing- they did a great job- expect they played "that's what freinds are for" and made us do a group dance- didn't like it- we were laugthing the whole time- but I do have to say- I have great pics from it
Flowerfield A+++++++++++++
Florinda, Joette- bridal attendent- and Andy MD
WOW- is all I can say- they did an excellent job- people are saying this is the best wedding they have ever been to- the food was amazing- the service was outstanding- the layout was perfect- it was worth every penny
people thought I must have upgraded everything and the truth is I upgraded NOTHING- everything was included- so much food- and even chair covers- the place is amazing
Joette- was the best part for me- she was so on the ball- at one point Jake stepped on my train and ripped my sash- she sewed and pined it back- and had me back out on the dance floor in 5 minutes
Cake- Aundrey bakery- A+
it looked as good as it tasted- it was white cake with sugar snowflakes- with raspberry and choc mouse filling
Cake Topper- Angelkind.com A+
I really wanted a custom cake topper that looked like us- most I saw online were over $1K- this one was $200 and it was so cute- everyone loved it- it was a nice personal touch
Garden City Hotel- A
I got a good deal on the room thru my job- we weren't there that long- we really could have gone home- the room was very nice
Honeymoon- Riu Palace Cabo San Lucus- B+
All- inclusive- right down to water and licquor in your room
honestly we had such a great time I really want to give them an A+- but the food wasn't so great- however- I kind of expected that- we had planned to go into town for dinner most night and the restaurants were so good it was worth it- the drinks and serivce at the hotel more then made up for the food IMO- we got one of the best rooms in the hotel- ocean and pool view on the top floor- it was always cleaned and the water was restocked
We also rented wave runners, went on the ATV ride and Jake got cerified in Scuba and went on 4 dives
we loved cabo- we can't wait to go back

Mi Case- by far the best and the most $$$
Squid Roe
American Airlines- F-
We arrive at JFK at 6am on 12/12- the line to check it has over 200 people on it and they had 3 people working- I was very upset that I had listened to other people and didn't pay to upgrade to first class- NEVER AGAIN- I say this every time I fly- that I will never fly coach again- but I mean it this time- people were missing flights- it was insane- we barley made it on the plane
Return flight- we are suppose to land at LAG- our limo is there waiting for us- it looks like we are going to land on time- but instead we fly by the tower so they can check on landing gear- the piolit couldn't tell if it was down- ok now I am freaking out- we start flying around LI so he can do some tests- then we head out to sea to dump fuel- not very comforting
then they accounce we are going to have to land at JFK- the runway is longer- great!
we land ok at JFK surrouned by the entired FDNY and NYPD- again not comforting
I call the limo driver and he makes his way from LAG to get us- he arrived before we got the bags - b/c the luggage room went on fire and it took over 2 hours to get our bags- we had to change terminals- luckily our bags were the 3rd ones out-

yep - i decided to wear them together- other wise I didn't feel married-
a quick reiew of my Jewler- who I got- Rami at Hillel Jewerly in the Sayville Flea Market- he gets an A+
he made me an exact copy of an AJaffe emerland cut diamond enterity band for a fraction of the cost- the diamonds are pefect and I love it with my e-ring- it makes my e-ring look better when I were them together- it's a lot of bling-
