Have you met with them yet??? I am meeting with them tomorrow. I have a friend who graduated with a photography degree who worked there as well and is using them for her wedding. I have also seen many good reviews about them on this website. I think their on the expensive side though...

I met with them in November - the photos were great, but the package that I was interested in was too pricey.

lOVED THEM.
They were pricy, so I went with One photographer and assistant instead of two. Altough I love the photojournalism, I decided that it was worth it to get one instead of two if I picked them. You kinda have to decide exactly what you want. They were very nice and the nice thing about them is that they will customize the package with you whereas some places force you to select a package and you are stuck with it, no changes, no substitutions. i did see them -- the studio is beautiful but the photos were inconsistant. Someone else mentioned that the photos on the walls do not represent the photos you get. And yes, they were expensive but what bothered me the most was that i was told a different price than a friend, who was quoted a different price than someone i spoke to awhile back on LIW.

For some reason though, my FH, who has extremely limited interest in planning likes them, and I don't know how that is seeing as he showed up late for our appointment and didn't see much. But he's really pushing for this.

I posted this per his request. I'm hoping to hear the bad and the good.

the photographer is the part that worries me the most through this process!

Their pictures are gorgeous, and I haven't heard anything bad about them. I didn't like that you don't get to meet with an actual photographer, decide if you "click" with him or her, and then have that persons name in your contract. Their attitude was that all their photographers are equally talented so you don't need that.

Your FI is prob pushing for them because he liked them enough and does not see why you would have to look anywhere else. My FI is the same way, he is so laid back and is happy with everyone. We went to go see Artisan tonight, Chuck the owner is really nice and seems really upfront. I really love his pictures and I have seen alot of good feedback about them. My FI wants to book him (surprise), but I want to beable to meet with other photographers to, so I can compare and make sure I am comfortable with my decision. The price I got was $4000 for one photographer and lighting assistant. $800 for an additional photographer.

What prices did you get from Sherwood Triart??

I was quoted $6400 for two photographers. I don't remember how much video was, but the $6400 was for the cheapest package. They went up to $12,000+.

I am using them for my wedding. I just had my e-pics done over the weekend, I should get them within a few weeks. I was between them and one other photographer but I just loved their work so I decided to go for it! They are a little $$ but not that much more then any other photographer. We went with a higher package and 2 photographers but if you choose to only have 1 photographer and a less expensive package, you could get a good price.
